The owners/operators, John Lightle and LeRoy Imler purchased the home and property in 1994 to be used as a private residents.  Both owners had been involved in educational careers for most of their working lifetime.

LeRoy began his teaching career at McCulloch Junior High School, teaching choral and general music classes.   After completing his MA degree in music education, he moved to Marion High School where he taught choral music and performance.  He developed and directed the “Now Sound Express” performance and stage choir.   Leaving music, LeRoy became coordinator of the In-School Suspension  Program.  He continued his pursuit of education by completing a Master’s of Library Science degree and his “Certification in Secondary Administration.” He served as assistant principal at McCulloch Middle School.  He then moved to become the coordinator of Audio Visual Services at Marion High School.  With considerable “on-the-job” training, LeRoy became the Director of Technology Services for the Marion Community School Corporation and K-12 Library Coordinator.  LeRoy finished his education career as library coordinator for Marion High School and K-12 Library Coordinator.
