Advance Reservations, with at least 24 hour notice, are Required.


You mayEMAIL Burke Place for additional availability information.  Your reservation may be made via telephone or email.  For email replies, you must provide an active email address and make sure your email will receive a reply from Burke Place Bed and Breakfast (limler@burkeplace.com).  A confirmation letter, verifying that your deposit has been received and your reservation has been validated, will be sent to you either via Internet email or U.S. Postal Mail Service.


Reservations are not complete until Burke Place Bed and Breakfast receivesnames of guests; street mailing address, along with city, state, and zip code; telephone or cell number; arrival and departure dates of reservation; room requested; and a deposit check for one night’s lodging.

Check-in times are from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.……Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.


Please notify your hosts, in advance, of your approximate arrival time.
Early or late check-in or check outs must be arranged prior to the date of arrival or departure.
Early check-ins or late check-outs may entail a fee of
$25.00.




A deposit of one night’s stay will be required in advance for house bookings and especially bookings on high traffic dates.  The deposit, less a $10.00 processing fee will be refunded if the cancellation is received seven days prior to the date of arrival.  Last minute cancellations will be charged a one night’s fee on high use dates such as: 


  • The James Dean Festival in September
  • Students’ Move-in or Move-out Weekends
  • Parents’ and Grandparents’ Weekend 
  • Graduation Weekend for IWU
  • Taylor Universities
  • No-Shows.
